Volunteer in the 2026 Midterms

Voting as a Sacred Act

Voting can be understood as an extension of the idea of b’tzelem Elohim (Gen 1:27) that each person is created in God’s image. That we are all equal. In a democracy, each citizen gets one vote—one equal say. And the government we elect ultimately becomes, in a sense, b’tzelem—an image or reflection—of us, our collective choices and the society we seek to create.

Here are three ways to get involved in keeping our elections free, fair, and sacred:

*We are expanding our capacity to offer free and fair election volunteer opportunities by connecting our Movement with organizations doing this work. We strive to recommend nonpartisan partners while recognizing that coalition work—like within our own diverse Movement—means working across differences without expecting agreement on every issue.
